A striking collector anthurium grown from seed, Anthurium ‘King of Spades’ is loved for its oversized, deeply velvety foliage and dramatic dark coloration. Mature leaves can develop a near-black, rich green surface with contrasting veins, giving this plant its signature moody, regal look.
Because this plant is seed grown, each individual is genetically unique. Leaf shape, darkness, veining, growth rate, and final mature size may vary from plant to plant—making every specimen a one-of-a-kind addition to a rare-plant collection.
This anthurium prefers bright, indirect light; consistently warm temperatures; elevated humidity; and an airy, chunky aroid substrate that retains some moisture while allowing plenty of oxygen around the roots. Allow the top portion of the substrate to begin drying between waterings, but avoid letting it become completely dry for extended periods.

Please note
Photos represent the general plant type and potential mature appearance. You will receive the exact plant shown if individually photographed and listed; otherwise, plants are selected from the available group. Seed-grown plants naturally vary in leaf color, vein expression, shape, and size. Minor cosmetic blemishes, small tears, or shipping-related stress are normal with live plants and do not affect overall plant health.
