Hi, I’m Jana, the owner and plant lover behind The Accidental Plant Shop. The shop wasn’t part of some grand business plan. It actually began life as a florist, but somewhere along the way I completely fell in love with houseplants, and things rather accidentally grew from there.

What I love most is sharing that obsession with other plant people, whether you’re choosing your very first houseplant or hunting for something unusual to add to your collection. I’m constantly learning, collecting and finding new plants that I’m excited to bring into the shop.

Our little shop is tucked inside an old jeweler’s space at Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, Washington, where we’ve filled the windows with plants and created a place to browse, discover something new, and hopefully leave with a plant you love.

And if you ever have a question, need some plant advice, or simply want to talk plants, I’m always happy to chat. Come in and say hello.
