Money Tree Braid – Pachira aquatica 2″

A tiny version of the classic braided Money Tree, perfect for small spaces, desktops, terrariums, or growing on into a larger houseplant. Even at this size, Pachira aquatica has its characteristic palmate leaves and braided stems, giving you the look of a miniature tropical tree.

Money Trees are easygoing growers that appreciate bright, indirect light and a well-draining potting mix. Water thoroughly, then allow the upper portion of the soil to dry before watering again. Avoid keeping the small pot constantly wet.

As it grows, this little starter can be gradually potted up and developed into a much larger specimen over time.

Care

Light: Bright, indirect light; adaptable to medium light.

Water: Allow the upper portion of the mix to dry slightly between waterings. Small 2″ pots can dry quickly, so check regularly rather than watering on a fixed schedule.

Humidity: Average household humidity is fine, with moderate humidity encouraging stronger growth.

Temperature: Prefers 65–80°F and protection from cold drafts.

Pot size: 2″ nursery pot.
