A rare variegated form of the beloved fishtail Hoya, *Hoya polyneura* ‘Albo-Variegata’ features narrow, pointed leaves with distinctive dark fishbone-style veins and creamy-white to pale-yellow margins. The bright outer variegation frames each leaf beautifully, making every vine look detailed, graphic, and especially eye-catching in a Hoya collection.

Its elegant trailing or climbing habit makes it perfect for a hanging planter, small trellis, or bright shelf where the variegation can really shine. Like the standard green form, this Hoya appreciates warmth, bright indirect light, and a loose, breathable potting mix. Because variegated leaves have less chlorophyll, bright filtered light is especially helpful for maintaining strong growth and crisp coloration.

Care at a glance

- **Light:** Bright, indirect light; a small amount of gentle morning sun can be beneficial
- **Water:** Allow the substrate to dry partially between waterings, then water thoroughly; avoid prolonged drought and soggy roots
- **Humidity:** Average home humidity is suitable, though moderate to higher humidity supports fuller, happier growth
- **Soil:** Chunky, airy, fast-draining Hoya or aroid-style mix
- **Growth habit:** Trailing or climbing vine
- **Pet note:** Hoyas are generally listed as non-toxic to cats and dogs, though it is still best to prevent pets from chewing plants

**Please note:** Variegation is naturally variable. Individual plants will differ in leaf count, vine length, amount of cream/white variegation, and overall fullness.
