Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Golden Flame’ is a striking climbing aroid with bold golden-yellow variegation splashed and marbled across rich green foliage. Each leaf develops its own pattern, ranging from fine streaks and mottling to dramatic sections of bright gold.
Part of our Grower’s Select collection, these plants come from Girl Run Farm, a local specialty nursery. They are locally grown and selected with an emphasis on strong growth, quality, and exceptional characteristics.
Like other forms of Epipremnum pinnatum, ‘Golden Flame’ becomes increasingly impressive as it matures. Juvenile foliage begins relatively simple, but when given a moss pole, coir pole, or other vertical support, the plant can produce much larger leaves with the dramatic splits and fenestrations characteristic of mature plants.
Care Highlights
Light: Bright, indirect light helps maintain strong golden variegation and healthy growth.
Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of the potting mix to dry before watering thoroughly.
Soil: Use a chunky, well-aerated and fast-draining aroid mix.
Humidity: Adaptable to normal household humidity but appreciates moderately higher humidity.
Growth: Vigorous and climbing. A vertical support encourages larger, more mature foliage.
Mature foliage: Leaves can develop increasingly dramatic splits and fenestrations as the plant climbs.
Variegation: Each plant is unique, and the amount and pattern of golden coloration will naturally vary.
Pet safety: Epipremnum contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and small children.
