Epipremnum aureum ‘Snow Queen’ is an exceptionally bright pothos selected for its heavily variegated foliage. Its heart-shaped leaves are predominantly creamy white to pale ivory, splashed and marbled with varying shades of green. Some leaves emerge almost entirely white, giving an established plant a striking, snowy appearance.

Similar in appearance to ‘Marble Queen’, ‘Snow Queen’ is distinguished by its much heavier white variegation and overall brighter look. Every leaf develops differently, so the mix of white, cream, and green will naturally vary as the plant grows.

‘Snow Queen’ can be allowed to cascade from a shelf or hanging planter, or trained up a moss pole or other support. Because of its high level of variegation, it tends to grow more slowly than greener pothos varieties and benefits from plenty of bright, indirect light.

Care Highlights

• Light: Bright, indirect light is best for maintaining strong white variegation. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun.

• Water: Allow the top 1–2 inches of the potting mix to dry before watering thoroughly.

• Soil: Use a loose, well-draining houseplant or aroid mix.

• Humidity: Adaptable to normal household humidity.

• Growth: Trailing or climbing. Providing a support can encourage larger, more mature foliage.

• Variegation: Each leaf is unique, and the balance of white and green will naturally vary.

• Pet safety: Pothos contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and small children.
