Anthurium ‘Tiger Red’ Seed Grown Hybrid

This seed grown hybrid features a coppery red emergent that hardens off into a deep velvet green with silvery venation.  The texture is firm and leathery. 

Currently in a chunky aroid mix, take care to keep the mix consistently moist during the hardening off period of the new emergent. Consistent bright indirect light, but not overly bright as to bleach the leaves. In this specimen some red color is retained on the petioles after the hardening off phase offering much promise as this anthurium matures.
