Bring a cool-toned, collector-worthy aroid to your space with Amydrium medium ‘Silver’. Its new foliage emerges bright green before hardening into a distinctive silvery-blue tone, with mature leaves developing dramatic fenestrations when given something to climb.
A fast-growing climber with an unusual leathery leaf texture, this plant is perfect for a moss pole, trellis, or indoor jungle display. As it matures, leaves can reach roughly 8–10 inches and develop the signature split, mitten-like form Amydrium lovers adore.
Plant care
• Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid prolonged direct sun.
• Water: Let the substrate dry slightly to nearly dry between waterings, then water thoroughly.
• Humidity: Average household humidity is tolerated, but higher humidity supports lush growth.
• Soil: Use a chunky, airy, fast-draining aroid mix.
• Support: Add a moss pole or plank to encourage larger, more fenestrated mature foliage.
• Pet note: Keep away from curious pets and children, as aroids should not be ingested.
What you’ll receive
You will receive one healthy, rooted Amydrium medium ‘Silver’ in the selected pot size. Each plant is naturally unique—leaf count, size, color, and degree of fenestration will vary.
