Despite its name, this isn’t a true ivy but a succulent vine, which means thicker leaves, better drought tolerance, and an easy‑care temperament. Its cascading growth habit makes it perfect for hanging baskets, tall planters, and shelves where the vines can spill and trail. In the right conditions, it may also produce small, daisy‑like yellow flowers that add a cheerful touch.

PLANT CARE

Light: Bright light is best. Indoors, place in bright indirect light or a sunny window with a bit of gentle direct sun. Outdoors (seasonally), morning sun and afternoon shade work well.
• Water: Allow the soil to dry out most of the way between waterings. Water thoroughly, then let excess water drain away; avoid keeping the soil constantly wet to prevent rot.
• Soil: Use a well‑draining cactus or succulent mix, or amend regular potting soil with extra perlite or grit for faster drainage.
• Humidity: Prefers normal to dry household air and does not require added humidity.
• Temperature: Enjoys typical indoor temperatures and should be protected from cold below about 50°F. Bring indoors well before frost if grown outside for the summer.
• Growth habit: A vigorous trailing vine that can reach several feet with time. Can be grown to spill from a pot or lightly trained up a small trellis or support.
• Pet safety: Considered mildly toxic if ingested. Keep away from pets and children that like to nibble on plants.
