Episcia ‘Maya’ is a named cultivar of the flame violet, a tropical gesneriad related to African violets and grown primarily for its showy foliage. Like other Episcia, ‘Maya’ has delicate, spade‑shaped leaves covered in fine hairs, with an iridescent sheen that shifts in different light. The plant creeps and trails from stolons, making it ideal for hanging baskets, cascading off shelves, or spilling from the front of a mixed planter or terrarium.
