Quick Deflasking & Acclimation Guide
- Gently Remove: Open the vessel and carefully slide the plantlet out using clean tweezers.
- Wash the Gel: Thoroughly rinse away all agar gel from the roots using lukewarm water (leftover gel can cause mold).
- Plant: Pot the plantlet into a sterile, light medium (like damp sphagnum moss or a premium chunky aroid starter mix).
- Humidity Dome: Place the pot inside a high-humidity environment (a prop box, ziplock bag, or under a dome) at 80-90% humidity.
- Acclimate: Keep under bright, indirect grow lights. Slowly vent the dome over 2–4 weeks to acclimate the plant to normal room humidity.
