Monstera lechleriana ‘Albo’ – Grower’s Select, 4.5” with Coir Pole

Monstera lechleriana ‘Albo’ is an uncommon variegated Monstera with elongated green leaves splashed, marbled, and occasionally sectorally variegated with creamy white. Each new leaf develops its own pattern, making this an especially rewarding plant to watch mature.

Part of our Grower’s Select collection, these plants come from Girl Run Farm, a local specialty nursery. They are locally grown and selected with an emphasis on strong growth, quality, and exceptional characteristics.

This is an established plant in a 4.5” pot with a coir pole, giving its climbing growth a support from the start. Unlike the familiar Monstera deliciosa, M. lechleriana has a more elongated growth habit. As it climbs and matures, it can develop increasingly large and impressive foliage.

Care Highlights

• Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining healthy growth and strong variegation.

• Water: Allow the upper portion of the potting mix to dry between thorough waterings.

• Soil: Use a chunky, well-aerated and fast-draining aroid mix.

• Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity with good airflow.

• Growth: A natural climber. Keep the coir pole in place or transition to a larger support as the plant grows.

• Variegation: Every plant is unique. The amount and pattern of white variegation will naturally vary from plant to plant and leaf to leaf.

• Pet safety: Monstera contains calcium oxalate crystals and should be kept away from pets and small children.
