Dischidia ovata (Watermelon Vine)
Dischidia ovata, commonly known as Watermelon Vine, is a charming tropical epiphyte loved for its small, succulent leaves marked with pale stripes that resemble the rind of a watermelon. Its cascading vines make it perfect for hanging baskets, shelves, or mounted displays where the unique foliage can be fully appreciated.
Easy to grow and closely related to Hoyas, Watermelon Vine thrives in bright, indirect light and appreciates a chunky, fast-draining mix. Given warmth and humidity, it will produce delicate cream to pale yellow flowers nestled among the leaves.
