Anthurium ‘Silver Butterfly’ is a striking foliage Anthurium prized for its elongated, heart-shaped leaves and luminous silver veining. New growth emerges fresh and vibrant before maturing into deeper green, with the contrasting veins creating the delicate, almost wing-like pattern that gives this variety its name.

It has an elegant, slightly wild look compared with some of the heavier velvet-leaf Anthuriums, making it a beautiful statement plant without being overly fussy.

Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct sun.

Water: Water when the upper inch or two of the potting mix begins to dry. Keep evenly moist but never waterlogged.

Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity, ideally 60% or above, but can adapt to normal household conditions.

Soil: Use a loose, airy aroid mix with excellent drainage.

Growth: Upright to spreading growth with increasingly impressive foliage as the plant matures.

Good to know: Warm temperatures, good airflow and consistent conditions will encourage the best leaf size and silver coloration.
